Its importance and life changing effects Of getting blessings Of Lord Shiva .Its very auspicious timing to worship lord Shiva which can heal the problems of human life .

Sawan month starts from 28 july and will end on 26 august of 2018 .Praying On mondays is very good .one can do worhsip of Shiva with -Dhoop ,kusha, bilva patra shmmi, patra and dhatura as offering to lord shiva .

Story About Importance of Sawan Month 

According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that once Sanat Kumara asked Lord Shiva why the month of Shravan is his favourite. Shiva replied that before leaving her body using yog Shakti, Devi Sati had vowed to get Mahadev as her husband in every birth. Sati reborn as Parvati – daughter of Queen Maina. It was during the month of sawan when Parwati performed intense tapasya to gain Lord Shiva’s love. Pleased by her efforts, dedication and love, Shiva accepted her and they got married. This is how the month of sawan gained importance for Lord Shiva.

Chanting And listening Of Lord shiva is very effective during this month . kanwar yatra is followed by devotee of lord shiva and it is offering toward Lord shiva .

Feel the presence of Shiva with in you . Listening of Rudrashtakam stotra which comes from Ram charit manas  is very effective to connect with the Lord Shiva .
